About Us
The Anatolian Society of Rheology was founded in August 2024 as the only rheology society in Turkey to support the development of rheology and to create a strong network among researchers, academics and industry representatives working in this field. Rheology is a branch of science that examines the flow and deformation behavior of materials and is a multidisciplinary field of study with a wide range of applications from different engineering fields to biology, chemistry to materials science, health and biotechnology to earth sciences. Our society aims to increase the knowledge in Turkey in the field of rheology, to support research and development activities and applications, and to strengthen national and international collaborations in this field. The society's activities began with the establishment of the society's bodies and the election of members at the 1st General Assembly Meeting held on October 24, 2024.
Our Mission
The primary goal and mission of our society is to promote and popularize the science of rheology in Turkey, to support research and education activities, and to become a reference center for scientists, engineers, students and all other stakeholders working in this field. In addition, to increase and share knowledge in the field of rheology, to provide innovative solutions to sectoral applications and to strengthen Turkey's place in the international arena by supporting scientific studies.
Our Vision
The Anatolian Society of Rheology aims to become the most important information and collaboration platform for rheology in Turkey. Our aim is to bring together everyone interested in rheology to increase the sharing of scientific knowledge and experience, expand the impact of rheology on industrial applications, and strengthen cooperation with international scientific circles.
